Subculture – Sub Club
I worked closely with ISO creative directors and Sub Club to re-brand their longest running night – Subculture. ISO has been creating artwork for Sub Club since its early days so it was a great opportunity to freshen up the design for this renowned Saturday night slot.
With posters and print promo required every month we wanted to simplify the approach – make it consistent and clear whilst allowing for flexibility to alter the designs to accommodate special events and unique guests.
The final concept was to create a 3D rendered textural landscape every month with a superimposed geometric shape and clean white typography. The Subby wanted more of a 'stamp' rather than a logo for the night so they settled on a block formation logotype – easy to repeat and sits nicely in the corner of their print promo.
